Acknowledgements to LMP2024 participants

The LMP 2024 conference organizers would like to thank all attendees, speakers, chairpersons and exhibitors for their contributions. Support of MecaNano action and conference sponsors is also very much appreciated. The conference brought together 85 participants from 12 countries. The conference program covered 45 oral presentations in 10 sections and 21 posters.

Best poster competition

The best poster competition was announced and the Best Poster Award winner for LMP2024 is Matej Kubiš with a poster "Nanoindentation analysis of high fluence helium ion irradiated Eurofer 97 and ODS Eurofer steels".

The Sixteenth International Conference on Local Mechanical Properties will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from Wednesday, May 29 to Friday, May 31, 2024. This year, the conference is organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Brehova 7, 115 19 Prague, Czech Republic.

• The official conference language is English. All oral or poster presentations, as well as abstracts and manuscripts are requested in English.
