Local Mechanical Properties LMP2017
November 6 - 8, 2017
IMR SAS, Košice, Slovakia

The LMP2017 is organized by the Institute of Materials Research of SAS with the aim to continue the series of successful annual LMP conferences focused on the recent results of research and development in the field of characterization of a wide range of mechanical properties from nano to micro/meso-scale. Contributions on indentation and other methods for hardness and other mechanical properties assessment, measurement of deformations and stresses, time-dependent properties with related microstructure analyses (TEM/SEM, AFM,TERS, etc.) regardless of material type (metals, ceramics, plastics, biomaterials, concrete, etc.) are welcome (the contributions related only to (makro)mechanical properties are out of the scope of the conference).

Conference will be held at the Institute of Materials Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice. The venue is located in a new building of PROMATECH Research Center, Watsonova 47A, 04001 Košice, Slovakia.

The official language of the Seminar is English. The seminar includes 15 min oral presentations (+ 5 min discussion) included in the student speech competition.
