Košice is easily accessible by various means of transportation:

✈️ By Air

Košice International Airport (KSC) connects the city with major European hubs like Vienna, Warsaw, Prague, or London. Alternatively, participants can fly to Budapest Airport (BUD) or Krakow Airport (KRK) and use direct commercial shuttle buses (e.g., FlixBus) straight to Košice.

🚆 By Train

Košice has excellent direct train connections from major cities. The main railway station is located near the city center and is fully integrated into the local public transport network (trams/buses):

  • Bratislava: approx. 4.5 to 5 hours (regular InterCity trains)
  • Budapest: approx. 3.5 hours (direct EuroCity trains)
  • Prague: approx. 7.5 to 8 hours (overnight sleeper trains available)
